Here's a twist. A company is now offering to rent space on web pages with a high Google page rank.

A new offer by a company called Inverudio allows businesses to rent space on web pages with high Google page rank. The service is being promoted as an alternative to link exchanges.
According to the report, "people can bid to 'Rent This Page'. The first accepted bid will get the page. The top bid has permanent high PR page."
Good idea? Since Google frowns on link exchange, link trade, and link sale, a page rent to a qualified bidder of a new quality website seems to be a good alternative.
